My New Baby

I’ve just had another baby. Yeap. I just had another baby about two weeks ago. Mungkin korang nda tau, tapi aku ni single parents for six pairs of babies. Yeap. SIX PAIRES OF BABIES – jadi maksudnya 12 orang anak aku ada. Hoho. So, korang da ready untuk meet the latest edition of my family?

Well, here it is!

Hoho. Yeap. This is the latest edition dalam family aku. What? Korang betulbetul pikir aku ada 12 anak? Fuck la. Masi muda maa. Masi ada pikiran laie ne.

Ba, this new baby that I call “Blue” (duhh!) datang ngan aku lebih kurang 2 minggu lalu laa. Aku beli di Adidas 1 Borneo hari tu, dengan harga around RM250. Adidas Training Non-Marking ne memang sesuai untuk volleyballer macam aku. Kasut ni design untuk indoor punya game. Mula mula aku mau beli kasut lain tapi disebabkan ada complication sikit (fuck laa tu orang yang nda mau carik kan kasut saiz 9), so aku round round kasut lain sampai jumpa kasut ni. And it was love at first sight.

Aku pick up this shoe and aku try it on, and it fits like a fucking glove. So apa laie. Aku rembat laa. From that moment on, Blue has never let me down. Kasut ni ringan, plus design dia simple ja. tapi dia ada air-regulation punya ruang (tinguk betulbetul gambar ne, air-regulation punya space tu ada di sepanjang kasut tu). Plus, aku jarangjarang pakai kaler biru. So to have this color on my family is simply… cute.

Ba, terlanjur da korang jumpa my new baby, jom kita kenal-kenal ma my babies yang lain ok?

Here it is, my first child, named “Asics” (well, aku panggil dia my first child sebab kasut ni aku beli time Semester 1).

Sapa sapa yang kenal aku memang tau aku ni jenis yang “one type of brand only” (the same thing can’t be applied in my relationship) – and it is Adidas. Aku memang gila Adidas, especially kasut dia. But this one was an exception. Aku beli ne di Centre Point time Semester 1. Fuhh, kalau ingat balik… memang happy gila time aku dapat kasut ni. Seingat aku, kasut ni was the first shoes I saw from the first store that we entered. Memang love at first sight. Aku put it on, and it just felt right. Korang tau jua kan time kamu beli kasut tu, terus dalam hati cakap “yaa.. this is it!”. Naa. Itu jua la yang aku pikir.. macam nda percaya aku da masuk 2 tahun kasut ni ngan aku. This is the one and only Asics design in my family, but I love this one the dearest. This shoe holds a very special place in my heart – since this is the very first original shoes I bought with my own money *cough*PTPTN*cough*.

Then, let’s meet my 2^nd baby.

Introducing, “Beckham”. Yeap. This is my ankle-high sneakers. Aku beli di Wisma Merdeka ka, di mana. Lupa da aku. Time aku beli ne aku dapat free bag Adidas kaler putih hijau yang kini menjadi hak milik kazen aku. The story with this shoes is that, aku round 4 kedai Adidas around KK just to get back to this one. Time ni aku obsess dengan Big Bang (one of my Three Greatest Bands of K-Pop alongside Beast and 2NE1) and their ankle-high sneakers galore. Plus, this shoe is quit a bit different and what I love about it the most, dia ada purple detailing around the shoes (purple is one of my fav color). Plus inside the shoes, ada trademark Adidas – triple stripes – which is also in purple. Kasut ni heavy sikit la. But it makes your legs look nice. I mean, after all, all Adidas shoes make your leg cool.

Then, meet my 3^rd child – “Zebra”. I don’t have to explain why I named it Zebra right? This one cost me rM290. The thing that buat aku tertarik dengan this shoe is that design kasut ni is so simple, but the detailing is fucking amazing. The zebra pattern, plus the mixtures of pink, blue, purple, and black as the color scheme is to die for. Aku suka pakai kasut ne sebab rasa ringan and simple ja. but at the same time, it stand out. See? My shoes make me stand out.

Then, there comes my very first sport shoes from Adidas, “Tough”.

Adidas Adituff is design for the comfort of running actually. Tapi aku beli ni untuk man volleyball. Tough come the same time with Zebra, but from different places. Zebra was from Adidas 1B and Tough came from a shoes shop in Api Api Centre with the price of RM220. The reason why I named this one Tough is because, well, it had been through a lot. Haha. Ya laa. Tough was the shoes I used through out the first year my volleyball career in UMS. Dia da lalui macam macam woo, especially 2 times of ankle injury time training mau pi MASUM dulu. Tu pasal aku sayang Tough ni. Rosak sikit da ni, da koyak da. Tapi sayang mau buang. Walau pun aku da ada Blue, tapi aku masik laie guna si Tough pi training every once and a while. See baby? Dady loves you.

Ini pulak “Danny”. Haha. Buruk nama. But it was a very nostalgic one. Aku panggil yang ini Danny sebab aku ada bespren dulu nama Danny. Dia budak streetpunk ba. So having checkers as part of his outfit is a sure. So setiap kali aku tinguk checkers, mesti teringat ma Danny. And this one is no exception. Aku beli kasut ni di 1B jua. Saja ja beli sebenarnya. Aku hari tu Cuma mau beli beg ja (Adidas of course) tapi sekalinya jalan jalan tinguk pula kasut ni. Harga dia time tu pulak murah RM190 ja. so rembat la sekalik. Boleh jua di pakai pi kuliah atau jalan jalan santai.

So there they are. My family of shoes. My babies. My precious. My loved ones. Memang pelik kan. Haha. Tapi aku betul betul treasure them. They have been through so much with me, and they still there (not like some people who come and go in my life). Memang kalau pikir, ah, they are just shoes. But those shoes hold some of the most sentimental values throughout my life here in UMS. Sayang gilak aku ngan kasut kasut aku ni. Yeap, there will be a time where I will have to let one of them go, but I will think about it when the time comes.

To my babies: Asics, Beckham, Zebra, Tough, Danny, and Blue (I know you all can’t read), I love you guys so much. I care for you, and I cherish you (since you guys cost me almost RM900 combined). Thanks for literally walking through the path of my life with me and sticking by my side as I went through some of the highest high and lowest low of my life (yeahh.. like you guys have anywhere else to go). Dady loves you guys so much. Dady really do.

Now we all can get back to normal.
